Meet Jennifer
Helping you reconnect with your body, trust your intuition, and create lasting wellness through Classical Pilates, Yoga, and Ayurveda.
Helping You Tune Out the Noise and Reconnect With Yourself
My journey into movement began through dance in my teens and twenties.
Even then, I was aware of the constant messages surrounding us about how we should look, move, eat, and live. The "noise" was everywhere.
Like many people, I spent years trying to follow the rules. I danced, ran, exercised, and did everything I thought I was supposed to do to stay healthy and fit.
But over time, my body began to feel the effects.
That's when I discovered Pilates.

MY JOURNEY
Discovering Pilates
Pilates immediately felt different.
It wasn't just exercise. It was a way of learning how to truly listen to my body.
Each session required focus, awareness, and presence. Instead of pushing through movement, I learned how to work with my body.
Through Pilates, I began to:
Build strength from the inside out
Improve body awareness and movement patterns
Develop a deeper connection with myself
Move with greater confidence and ease
The experience was empowering, and I knew I wanted to help others experience the same transformation.
For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of teaching Pilates and guiding clients through their own movement journeys.
A NEW CHAPTER
Learning to Adapt
After 20 years of teaching and practicing Pilates, I noticed that my body and the bodies of my long-time clients were changing.
What worked in our twenties and thirties no longer felt the same.
Nutrition
Sleep
Recovery
Stress Management
Daily Routines
I thought if I tried harder and followed the rules, I could get back to what used to feel good. But it didn't work. That search eventually led me to Ayureveda
DEEPER UNDERSTANDING
Finding Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of health and wellness originating in India.
What makes Ayurveda unique is that it recognizes that no two people are exactly alike.
Instead of offering a one-size-fits-all solution, Ayurveda considers the whole person, including:
Age and stage of life
Environment and lifestyle
Daily habits and routines
Personal history
Seasonal changes
Individual constitution
Through Ayurveda, I gained a deeper understanding of my own body and what it truly needed to thrive.
I learned to recognize the signals my body was sending and respond with greater awareness and compassion.
Rather than looking outside myself for answers, I began learning how to trust the wisdom already within.

THE MISSING PIECE
The Wisdom of Yoga
My journey eventually led me to Yoga, often referred to as Ayurveda's sister science.
-
Yoga creates space.
-
Space to slow down.
-
Space to breathe.
-
Space to listen.
The outside noise never completely disappears, but Yoga helps us reconnect with something deeper, our own inner wisdom.
The part of us that already knows what we need to feel balanced, healthy, and whole.

I completed my first Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program in 2005. After having my two children, I decided to deepen my studies with the Taylor Sisters at The Pilates Center in Boulder, CO, completing both their Master’s Program in 2012 and their Advanced Teacher Training in 2013.
Fun fact! My mentors studied with Romana Kryzanowska and Romana studied with Joseph Pilates himself. That is what makes me a 3rd generation instructor.
I dove deep into Ayurveda, completing both the Foundations of Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic Health Coach programs at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. I am currently studying with Dr. Anusha Segal BAMS, MD (Ayurveda) in her Advanced Ayurveda Practitioner Program in Boston, MA. I plan to travel with Dr. Segal at the end of the year to complete an Ayurvedic internship, in India!
I completed my first RYT-200 training through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2024 and, most recently, a RYT-200 through Groundswell Yoga under the mentorship of Duffy Perkins and Tina Lanzoni.
